Help! camera/microphone not working!
If your camera or microphone is not working during a consultation, clearing your browser cache often resolves the issue. Follow the simple steps below for your browser.
Google Chrome (Desktop & Android)
- Open Chrome and click the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right corner
- Go to Settings → Privacy and security
- Click Clear browsing data
- Select Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data
- Click Clear data
- Close Chrome completely and reopen it
- Return to ReallySick.sg and allow camera/microphone access when prompted
Safari (iPhone & Mac)
On iPhone:
- Go to Settings → Safari
- Tap Clear History and Website Data
- Confirm by tapping Clear History and Data
- Also go to Settings → Safari and ensure Camera and Microphone are set to Allow
- Return to ReallySick.sg and try again
On Mac:
- Open Safari and click Safari in the menu bar → Settings
- Go to the Privacy tab and click Manage Website Data
- Click Remove All and confirm
- Return to ReallySick.sg and allow camera/microphone access when prompted
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge and click the three dots menu (⋯) in the top right corner
- Go to Settings → Privacy, search, and services
- Under "Clear browsing data", click Choose what to clear
- Select Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data
- Click Clear now
- Close Edge completely and reopen it
- Return to ReallySick.sg and allow camera/microphone access when prompted
Firefox
- Open Firefox and click the menu button (☰) in the top right corner
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Security
- Scroll to "Cookies and Site Data" and click Clear Data
- Select both options and click Clear
- Close Firefox completely and reopen it
- Return to ReallySick.sg and allow camera/microphone access when prompted
Still having issues?
If clearing the cache does not resolve your issue, try the following:
- Try using a different browser (Chrome is recommended)
- Check that no other application is using your camera or microphone
- Restart your device
- Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version
