What is a Medical Certificate (MC)? Medical certificate (MCs) is issued by doctors as evidence to certify that the said patient is unfit for work…

Medical certificate (MCs) is issued by doctors as evidence to certify that the said patient is unfit for work for a specified period of time due to medical condition.

Can the doctor(s) at ReallySick.sg issue a Medical Certificate (MC)?

After a sound assessment of your condition from the teleconsultation, our doctors can issue you a Digital Medical Certificate that is generated from www.mc.gov.sg.

A Digital Medical Certificate (digiMC) is initiated by GovTech Singapore, which essentially is an electronic version of a traditional paper and ink medical certificate (MC). It is an authentic MC, which should be recognised in the same way by your insurers and employers.

A Digital Medical Certificate (MC) is the electronic version of a traditional paper and ink medical certificate (MC). A digital MC is a legitimate document and should be recognised by your employer. As such, a paper MC is not required. You can proceed to print out the digiMC if you wish.

After consultation, you will receive an email notification with a private link to view or download your MC. Alternatively, you can retrieve it through "My Past Consultation" page after you have logged in to consult.reallysick.sg. You will be prompted to key in your Date of Birth (DoB) to download or view your MC.

The doctor’s signature is not required because the digital MC is computer-generated and electronically tokenized. Your employers will not need to validate your MC with the platform as the digital MC is tamper-proof and is generated from https://www.mc.gov.sg domain. However if your employer feels the need to validate the MC, they can scan the QR code provided on the MC to verify its authenticity.

A Digital Medical Certificate (MC) is the electronic version of a traditional paper and ink medical certificate (MC). You can inform your employer to check out the FAQ for employers. You may need to reach out to the Ministry of Manpower should you be denied medical leave.

Your doctor should not require more than 10 minutes to complete your medical documents. If you do not receive your MC within 10 minutes, please go to "My Past Consultation" to check the status of your consultation. If the documents are not generated, you may contact us. Alternatively, please contact us and our friendly team will revert to you within 24 hours.

No, the link will not expire. Your Employers or human resource department can access it anytime for review in future.

The date of issue of the MC and the dates for which the patient is certified unfit for work / duty must be clearly and accurately indicated on the MC. In normal circumstances, MC(s) cannot be backdated.

You may do so by raising a new consult to reassess your medical condition if you require your MC to be extended.

Unfortunately, MCs are granted (or not) at the doctor’s discretion and should not be disputed. However, if your doctor has agreed to grant you a certain number of days that is not reflected accurately, please contact us and our friendly team will revert to you within 24 hours.

Please kindly amend the details on “My Settings”. Alternatively, please contact us and our friendly team will revert to you within 24 hours.

The Digital MC issued by See-Dr Pte. Ltd. is as real as a traditional MC and is recognised by the respective insurers.

For other clarification on medical records or documents, please contact us with the “Consult ID” and our friendly team will revert to you within 24 hours.

Doctors at ReallySick.sg respect your confidentiality and your diagnosis will not be reflected unless you choose so. For the same reason, the MC will be given directly to you and your consent will be sought if your employers contact us regarding your medical condition.

Yes.

Your digital MC link will only be sent to you via your registered email at Reallysick.sg. You may choose to forward it to your employer or relevant parties. Alternatively, you may visit "My Past Consultation" to download the Digital MC at your own convenience.

At Reallysick.sg, we have compiled a guide for some of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that our patients have consulted us with to provide you an ease of mind on our consultation charges :

By leveraging on the use of technology and streamlining the needs of the patient, we are able to make tele-consultations more efficient yet remain affordable.

By saving time, we save cost – and the savings are passed on to you!

There is a flat charge of $11 for simple teleconsult and $25 for extended/complex teleconsults. For simple teleconsult, no medications or referral letters will be issued. Medicines are to be paid separately.

This is a complex consult charge of which the consultation is long or if medicine has been ordered.

It also usually applies if your consultation includes medical opinion(s) from the Attending Doctor, and/or requires additional time to prescribe medicine(s) and/or generate memo / referral letter.

However, if you feel that you have been wrongly charged, please contact us and our friendly team will respond to you within 24 hours.

Please check under "My Past Consultation" on the status of your last teleconsultation. If the last teleconsultation consultation is not reflected, you are encouraged to raise a new consult.

You will not be charged for the missed consult. However, it will take up to 5 working days depending on your Bank / your Card Issuer to update your statements.

If you believe that you might have been charged in this situation, please contact us and our friendly team will respond to you within 24 hours.

ReallySick.sg prides itself to be transparent with its charges – standard charges all day / night, everyday. Our system does not allow the doctor to make additional consultation charges. There is no additional charge unless in circumstances that you require a detailed medical report for insurance, an admin fee will be charged.

Anyone interested in their health and wellness can raise a web-based teleconsult at Reallysick.sg.

For our general practitioner service, anyone with non-urgent conditions is suitable. However, those below 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent / guardian during the video consultation.

Teleconsultation is a convenient option for many health concerns but may not fully replace an in-person consultation. If you feel you require immediate medical attention or a physical examination, we recommend seeing a doctor in person. A physical examination is also advisable if your symptoms persist or worsen, to ensure a comprehensive evaluation and rule out other potential causes.

You can use this service from anywhere in the world. However, please note that any medical certificates (MC) will be issued under our service based in Singapore. The consultation will primarily provide a medical opinion, and billing will be processed in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
